Use calendar-month equivalents. The care/package line may include medicine: if it does, enter a confirmed $0 for separate medication. Prepayment applies only to care/package. Labs are budgeted in month one. For 28-day or 30-day schedules use the payment commitment tool.
Example amounts are fictional, not provider prices. Values stay in this page and are cleared on reload.
The same year, different commitments.
What the two totals mean
Service-year cost counts exactly 12 months of care and medication plus annual and setup charges. Cash paid includes every care/package prepayment scheduled within those 12 months, even when its last block buys service beyond the year. Both assume uninterrupted care, unchanged renewal rates and no refund.
Monthly medicine is paid separately; bundled medicine belongs only in the package line. This tool does not model a changing dose price, deductible, financing interest or insurance reimbursement. Ask for a written quote if those change the result.
