Care and commitment

The decision turns on the service and payment boundaries below. Compare a sequence of invoices instead of a monthly membership.

Can you confirm follow-up frequency, the selected pharmacy package and its actual supply duration?

No recurring bill does not mean no ongoing cost

Lavender Sky’s FAQ lists a $65 initial consultation and $40 follow-up consultations, with medication separate. It states there is no consult or provider fee for a refill between required follow-ups. The useful budget therefore depends on the clinical review schedule and the chosen medicine package. Do not multiply one consultation price by twelve or assume it occurs only once. Ask when another review is required and whether a change of pharmacy or treatment creates another service charge.

An invoice can become committed immediately

The policies say medication orders are final after submission to the pharmacy and that payment starts the ordering process. Unused prepayments may be refunded within 180 days, less a five-percent processing fee, but an applied prepayment is no longer refundable. This creates a meaningful distinction between holding credit and paying a specific invoice. Ask which step you are authorizing. A later pharmacy price reduction does not entitle a paid invoice to a credit under the published policy.

Pharmacy choice needs a complete comparison

Medication pricing varies with the pharmacy and plan length. Compare the prescribed quantity, formulation, shipping and required follow-up rather than selecting the smallest invoice. The provider and pharmacy have separate responsibilities; ask where a clinical question goes and where a damaged shipment is reviewed. A pay-as-needed model can reduce unwanted automatic charges, but it places more importance on planning the next review and order before supply runs short. Our assessment does not imply that avoiding a subscription removes the need for ongoing clinical care.

The alternative worth testing

Compare this invoice model with Collective’s annual membership and Emerge’s four-week subscription. Use the payment calendar to compare a real sequence of purchases. The formulation guide helps prevent a price-only substitution. Lavender Sky is most useful on a shortlist when the chosen pharmacy package and follow-up schedule are both explicit.

The product boundary stays visible

The reviewed menu includes compounded preparations. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. A shared ingredient name does not establish the same finished product, evidence or suitability as an approved branded medicine. We would not treat a different formulation as a price-only substitution. Confirm the exact product with the prescriber.
