Care and commitment
The decision turns on the service and payment boundaries below. Choose the program before comparing the price.
How do you distinguish branded prescription access from a compounded medication bundle and confirm the quarterly charge?
The menu contains different purchases
Noom’s branded-medication telehealth option advertises $39 initially, then $99 monthly billed quarterly, excluding medicine. The compounded GLP-1 program advertises $129 initially, then $249 monthly billed quarterly after the first four-week supply. These are not two prices for the same basket. Ask which program you are enrolling in and which services, medication and pharmacy payments sit inside it. A lower care-only figure should not outrank a medicine-inclusive offer until both are converted into complete quotes.
Quarterly billing changes the cash decision
Noom’s general terms describe automatic renewal and fees that are generally nonrefundable. The exact billing period is disclosed at signup and may use days, weeks or months. A monthly equivalent therefore should be paired with the full upcoming charge and the interval it purchases. If you switch programs, the separate switching guidance describes a new subscription and a possible prorated refund; that does not establish the same refund for simply leaving. Ask for the applicable calculation before authorizing a switch.
The program is part of what you are paying for
The pricing page includes clinical care, coaching and Noom’s digital behavior-change program. Our judgment is that those features add value only if they fit the support you want and can use. Ask how coaching differs from a prescribing appointment, how clinical messages are handled and whether any required tests are extra. Do not use a commercial before-and-after result to predict your own response. Program participation and medication effectiveness are related questions, but a bundled subscription does not prove an individual outcome.
Compare the service layer honestly
Compare Noom’s broader support package with Ro and Calibrate. The first-year calculator helps when the actual quote uses calendar months; use the payment calendar for fixed-week purchases. Read withdrawal evidence when thinking about continuing support, without treating that evidence as a reason to accept any particular contract length.
The product boundary stays visible
The reviewed menu includes compounded preparations. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. A shared ingredient name does not establish the same finished product, evidence or suitability as an approved branded medicine. We would not treat a different formulation as a price-only substitution. Confirm the exact product with the prescriber.
